Remsberg Park

A long time dream for recreational space is now a reality!

Remsberg Park is a multi-recreational facility planned on 88 acres owned by the Town of Middletown located just off Holter Road. The Remsberg Park Project is a partnership between the Town of Middletown, MVAA, and Maryland Project Open Space.  Many people throughout the years have played a role in making Remsberg Park a reality for young athletes in the Middletown area.

Remsberg Park is truly a community setting offering a variety of activities for people of all ages.  The grounds encompass

  •  tot lot
  •  pavilon with electricity
  • .7 mile walking trail
  • 3 multi-purpose fields with lights (lacrosse, soccer, football)
  • 2 baseball fields with dug outs on one

Future plans for the park include the construction of

  • bathroom facility with running water
  • concession stand
  • press box
  • bleachers
  • additional fields will be coming in Phase 2

MVAA's Commitment to Remsberg Park

The MVAA is committed to the development of Remsberg Park.  Year after year, the MVAA has been able to raise their funding portion of Project Open Space Grants.  In most recent years, this has been accomplished by hosting an annual golf tournament.  In the past, the MVAA has hosted several events.

The “Etch My Name in Remsberg Park” campaign offers individual, families, and businesses a chance to be a part of this community landmark.  The "Etch my Name in Remsberg Park" offers brick pavers, "Pillars of the Park", Walls of Recognition, and Field Dedications.  Please link to Etch My Name in Remsberg Park to get more information.  This is a great way to honor a coach, player, or have your family’s name be a part of Remsberg Park.  Due to the love of Middletown, the MVAA has been able to sell over 20 "Pillars of the Park" and several hundred brick pavers.
