BAG BINGO IS BACK!

MVAA Cheer is happy to announce their 7th annual Bag BINGO will be held March 27, 2022.  Keep an eye out for more details!

COMPETITION CHEER IS SEEING SOME CHANGES THIS SEASON!

The 2021-2022 season is underway for MVAA Competition Cheer.  IgKNIGHTed is returning as a U12/Youth level 2 team.  Inferno joined forces with PHOENIX and will be competing as a U18/Senior level 3 team.  We are very excited for the upcoming season; both teams will be working hard to hold on to their National Title!  We are also thrilled to introduce our new team Sparks!  Sparks consists of 16 athletes and will be competing as a U10/Pee-Wee level 1 team.

MVAA IS ONCE AGAIN RANKED FIRST IN THE USA!

2011, 2015, 2021

The MVAA competition cheer program competed both in person and virtually in 2020 due to COVID restrictions.  Although, it was a difficult season, 2 out of the 3 teams finished first in the nation and 1 finished in a strong second!  In May, all three teams, igKNIGHTed, (U12 level 2), Inferno (U14 level 2), and PHOENIX (U18 level 3) traveled to Ocean City for the US FINALS National Competition.  All three teams were ranked first in their divisions.  Phoenix and igKNIGHTed were able to hold on to their first place!  Inferno finished in a strong second place!  The teams received record setting scores for their flawless performances!  These athletes have shown what perseverance looks like and that hard work does pay off.  The coaches, parents, and community are so proud of all these girls!!!

MVAA Cheerleading provides an opportunity for children to learn the proper techniques of cheerleading.  We offer an atmosphere where children can learn sportsmanship, positive social skills, good citizenship and an appreciation for sports.  Our program presents a positive environment where your children are not only learning, they are having fun do so.  MVAA's cheerleaders, parents, volunteers, coaches and other programs work together to ensure MVAA Cheerleading reaches its highest potential.

Combined, the coaches of MVAA Cheer bring over 50 years of experience to this program.  Understanding that this sport is constantly evolving, they regularly attend seminars, workshops and clinics to stay updated on emerging trends, skills and techniques.  These coaches truly have a passion, dedication and respect for this sport and love every second of it!
