The fall rec program cheers for MVAA football teams ranging from K-8th grade and is in season from August to mid-November. This portion of the cheer program is home to nearly 100 cheerleaders! Sideline cheering is treated much like competition and athletes are expected to work hard, learn good sportsmanship, and gain proper technique. MVAA cheerleaders and coaches are proud this portion of the program takes sideline cheering to a new level of excellence!
Due to our coachs’ level of knowledge, and the athletes’ dedication to the sport, teams are able to perform at collegiate levels, year after year. Each coach focuses on teaching proper and age appropriate techniques. MVAA cheerleaders "WOW" Middletown fans as well as competitors every week. They know and understand the game of football and keep the crowd involved. The fall season allows teams to be more creative and change routines each week.
During the fall the MVAA Cheer program participates in community events including Middletown's Heritage Days, where they have won the Judges Choice Award multiple times and are always a crowd favorite! All coaches are able to provide a safe environment and truly focus on teaching the proper and age appropriate techniques.
